what I learned today:
- how technology can benefit the classroom: provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge through multiple modes, and tailoring it to their comfort and strengths. The same goes for teachers; technology provides endless opportunities for us to share our knowledge in fun and engaging ways.
- how technology can be a disadvantage in the class: technology as a barrier for ESL students and those who may not have access to certain technologies. As well as accountability of the students to ensure that technology is used only for classwork.
how I plan to use this going forwards:
- adding my previous teaching profile as a new page with my past lesson plans and unit plans to show off
- adding new lessons plans and resources, as well as using this as a platform to include all mu future lesson plans!
- this will be beneficial and helpful for the future when I am applying for jobs; being able to have examples of past lesson plans and unit plans from past school experiences as a link for future employers to click on and have all my past work in one place.
